In a hotel, Stormy checked and secured..... Just in time. Huge T-storm.
First, thank you all for your interest and support. Had a wonderful campfire and camp last night in West VA. Seneca Rocks. No service, of course, and I really needed to let Todd know I was safe. Set up camp and found a little store a couple miles down rd. Wonderful woman let me use her land line. I tried to pay her but she said it would come around.
Having been giving out lots of stickers, both mine and M4MOTO. Everyone has approached me AND I have been friendly. Lol. I even gave my spare skull cap away to a young girl going through Chemo. I gave her mother stickers and asked her to look for motorcyclists. She put them on SUV before she even drove away.
Rode mostly highways today, yesterday was wonderful but was feeling like I wasn't getting anywhere. 79 was nice. 64 was fine, until an accident had it at a standstill. HOT!!!!! Got off and wound my way around and ended up on rt. 60. Midland trail. Which I had planned to do if left next year. And that is where I met girl with cancer. And Thompson road. Side note..... Stormy could do 75 with full load all day long. Loving my throttle lock.
Really wanted to make it to Kentucky. I did, BUT in a dry county. Checking out that info. Has been added to checking weather, and stormys pre and post trips. Luckily, I have my handy dandy polar bear cooler with 2 golden monkeys!!!
